The Università per Stranieri di Siena (est.1921) partners with NWACC Study Abroad program to send students to participate in four weeks of classroom study in Siena. The program is open to students and members of the community and may be taken for college credit or audit. The Universita will provide instructors for the Italian language course; Professor Victor Chalfant will teach Photography & Professor Chris Huggard will teach World Civilization. All students will take Italian Language with Univ. of Siena and then Photography or World Civilization with NWACC instructors. One of the most attractive aspects of the Università—aside from the fact that students will live and study in the historic city center of Siena, Italy—is its diversity of students. In 2014 students from 95 countries attended the school.
